The forests of South West Scotland provide the backdrop to the story, home to the last major colony of red squirrels in Britain. As long as time itself, a natural order has governed this peaceful squirrel population. Their world is shattered when a marauding army of grey squirrels, led by their ferocious leader Abaddon comes North intent on killing all red squirrels. Outnumbered, the Reds will have to make their stand and fight to save their species' very existence.
