All I Hope For You

All I Hope For You tells the story of Josette, a young Haitian immigrant trying to find her place while navigating the ups and downs of adolescence. When Josette's mother sends her to live in the United States with relatives she barely knows, Josette must adjust to a new country, language, and culture. The novel explores themes of family, identity, racism, immigration, and adolescence as Josette tries to figure out who she is and what she hopes for in her new life in America.
