Description

In 'Goosebumps #44: Say Cheese and Die Again', the story follows Greg Banks, who has previously had a terrifying encounter with a cursed camera that takes pictures foretelling disaster. Needing to prove the camera's powers for a school assignment, Greg goes back to the abandoned house where he found it. Despite his fears, he takes a photo of himself, which develops showing that he's incredibly fat—even though he's not. Soon, he begins to gain weight uncontrollably. Next, he takes a photo of his English teacher to reverse the curse, but the picture shows the teacher as a skeleton, and she subsequently becomes extremely thin and skeletal. Greg realizes that the camera's curse is real and more powerful than he imagined. As with many Goosebumps tales, Greg and his friends must confront supernatural forces and find a way to break the camera's curse before the predicted tragedies become permanent.
