A young boy named Luke Lancelot embarks on a magical adventure to find the Golden Shield, which will help him protect his village from an impending dark threat. Along the way, he encounters mythical creatures, puzzles, and challenges that test his courage and wit. When Luke's brother Arthur is given an ancient and magnificent sword for his birthday, Luke feels overshadowed until he gets the chance to prove himself. Luke, along with his sister Gwinnie and the flying horse Avalon, sets out to rescue Arthur who has been poisoned and kidnapped by the evil Morgana and her brother Mandrake, who has turned into a dragon. Together, they save Arthur and defeat the villains. Luke is then honored as a knight for his bravery, becoming the bravest knight of all at Camelot.
