Pigsy's First 20 Sight Words
#1 in Pigsy's Learning Adventures Series
What’s inside...
As a long-time National Board certified kindergarten teacher, I know young children! Kindergartners enjoy a challenge - especially when it's fun! This activity book is just that - fun-filled pages that challenge your child to develop an awareness of sight words. Sight words, also known as high frequency words, are commonly occurring words that children - indeed all of us! - encounter while reading. This activity book presents a set of 20 frequently occurring words with which children can gain practice through word identification, tracing, writing and - importantly - word reading in the context of a basic sentence. Also included for each word is a fun coloring page featuring Pigsy from my social-emotional learning book titled Pigsy the Rainbow Piglet. Oh! And there are two BINGO 'boards' with calling cards at the end of the book to continue the fun!
