Rapid Reading is a catch-up intervention reading scheme designed to help children age 7 and above with a reading age of 5 years to 5 years 6 months. As part of the Pearson Rapid Reading intervention series, it is proven to help children who are behind in their reading to triple their rate of progress. Each book in the series, including this one at Starter Level 2A (equivalent to green book band), features a dyslexia-friendly design and offers support to all struggling learners, including those with SEND. The design aids in developing comprehension skills, reading fluency, and confidence. The book contains both fiction and non-fiction texts on a similar theme, with 'Before reading' notes and 'Quiz' questions to further support and develop understanding, making it ideal for home learning.
