Shrek 2
Description
In 'Shrek 2,' written by Jenny Miglis, the story continues with Shrek and Fiona returning from their honeymoon to find an invitation to visit Fiona's parents in the Kingdom of Far Far Away. Despite Shrek's reluctance, they embark on the journey, accompanied by their friend Donkey. Upon arrival, Fiona's parents are shocked to discover that their daughter is now an ogre and that she has married Shrek. The King, particularly, is displeased and enlists the help of the Fairy Godmother and the suave Prince Charming, who was supposed to marry Fiona, to separate the couple. Meanwhile, Shrek feels insecure about his appearance and drinks a potion hoping to become handsome to win the King's approval. The potion turns both Shrek and Fiona into humans, but the change is temporary. A series of misadventures ensue as Shrek and his friends try to reverse the transformation, foil the Fairy Godmother's schemes, and defend their love. In the end, the King accepts Shrek and Fiona's marriage, and the couple returns to their swamp, embracing their true selves and living happily ever after.
