Sloth detective Paz is back in the second book of the Sloth Sleuth graphic novel series. The story is set in Winkelfuss, where a recently discovered map alleges that Cap’n Gnawface the Meanie buried her treasure many years ago. The legend says that anyone who tries to find the treasure will be cursed by pirate ghosts and ghost-napped. Despite the warnings, the greedy residents start hunting for the treasure, only to mysteriously disappear after waking up with a 'golden smudge'. Paz, who is indifferent to the treasure, takes on the case to find her missing friends and solve the mystery of the pirate treasure.
