Description

There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom is a juvenile fiction book by Louis Sachar that tells the story of Bradley Chalkers, a fifth-grader who is the oldest, most feared boy at his school. He is known for his misbehavior, poor academic performance, and for having no friends, except for the toys he talks to in his room. When a new boy named Jeff Fishkin arrives at the school, he befriends Bradley, but the friendship faces challenges due to Bradley's reputation and behavior. Meanwhile, Carla Davis, the new school counselor, takes an interest in helping Bradley. She believes in him and encourages him to see himself in a more positive light. With her support, Bradley learns to change his behavior, stand up to bullying, and open up to the possibility of friendship and trust. Over the course of the story, Bradley confronts his problems, learns to overcome his fears, and ultimately transforms into a happier, more confident person.
